hasti mitaye baithe hain

हम अपनी हस्ती मिटाए बैठे हैं 

तेरे आने की खबर सुन के 

दिल की बस्ती सजाये बैठे हैं

चराग बुझ न जाये आने से पहले

हम घर के परदे गिराए बैठे हैं

यह जुदाई के रात जल्दी कटे 

तेरी तस्वीर को सीने से लगाये बैठे हैं 

हैं सुलगते हुए अरमान मेरे

हम सर्द आहों से उन्हें बुझाये बैठे हैं

कोई न सुन पाए खामोसी को मेरे

दिल की धड़कन में तेरी आवाज़ बसाये बैठे हैं

क्यूँ खड़े हो दूर हमसे

हम दिल के शामियाने में आपकी महफिल सजाये बैठे हैं

Oh Lord make me a channel of your peace

bring me there where there is pain and suffering

Let me bless those who are unblessed

Let me love them who have no one to love

Let me be with them who are all alone

Let me count my sins and add my blessings

Let me be the passage through which light travels to world
